Firebird Takes Majority Stake in Goodlife Mgmt

Firebird has expanded its management ecosystem by acquiring a majority stake in UK-based Goodlife Management, whose roster includes Fred again.. and The Blessed Madonna. Goodlife founder Oliver Sasse will assume a Senior Adviser role at Firebird, tasked with identifying acquisition opportunities in the dance and electronic space. Firebird CEO Nathan Hubbard indicated plans to deploy up to $500 million in capital over the next 24 months toward artist partnerships, adding to the $300 million already deployed.

This acquisition highlights Firebird’s strategy of building specialized “centers of gravity” around specific genres, deepening its footprint in electronic music alongside previous investments like Defected Records. The move underscores an industry shift toward consolidated, multi-service ecosystems that integrate management, digital audience strategy, label services, and dedicated financial infrastructure.
